This Shipping and Delivery Policy describes how orders placed through bettaqua.gr (the “Store”) are processed and delivered. By placing an order through the Store, customers agree to the terms described below.
Orders are processed after successful order confirmation and payment authorization where applicable. Orders are generally prepared for shipment within normal business operating days, excluding weekends, public holidays, and periods when operations may be temporarily suspended due to operational or seasonal closures.
Shipping Policy
Delivery times displayed during checkout or communicated to customers are estimates and not guaranteed delivery deadlines. Shipping times may vary depending on destination, product availability, courier operations, weather conditions, high-demand periods, or other circumstances beyond the Store’s control.
Orders are delivered through partner courier or logistics companies selected by the Store. Delivery is available within Greece and to any additional destinations listed during checkout. Deliveries are made to the address provided by the customer at the time of ordering. Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery details. The Store is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on delivery location, package weight or volume, shipping method, and any applicable courier surcharges. Additional charges may apply for remote or hard-to-reach areas, oversized shipments, or special handling requirements. Customers are informed of shipping costs before completing the purchase.
For certain destinations, especially remote or island locations, delivery times may be extended depending on courier availability or transport routes. In such cases, delivery schedules may vary and additional transport arrangements may be required.
In the case of cash-on-delivery or similar payment methods, additional service charges may apply as indicated during checkout.
For orders containing live animals or live aquatic plants, deliveries are scheduled with additional care, but shipping conditions remain dependent on courier services and external transport factors. Customers must ensure availability to receive such deliveries immediately upon arrival. The Store cannot guarantee survival or condition of live organisms when delivery delays or improper handling occur after dispatch or when customers are unavailable to receive the shipment.
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon delivery of goods to the address provided or to a person designated to receive the shipment. Customers are advised to inspect packages upon delivery and report visible shipping damage immediately to the courier and the Store. If a shipment cannot be delivered due to customer absence or incorrect delivery information, the courier may attempt re-delivery or hold the package at a local depot. Any additional delivery costs arising from re-shipment or return may be charged to the customer.
Orders may be delayed or canceled in cases of force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, government restrictions, or supplier shortages. In such cases, customers will be informed and refunds may be issued where appropriate. Order tracking information is provided when available by the courier service, allowing customers to monitor shipment progress.
